Web Developer - Remote Position

Position Overview

Whitehorne is seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our remote team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing websites for a variety of clients. You'll work closely with our design and development teams to create seamless user experiences, utilizing your expertise in coding, debugging, and deployment.

The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React or Vue.js. Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js and database management is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to build features.
• Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with new web development technologies and best practices.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve site visibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or PHP) is a plus.
• Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of web standards and accessibility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
